I am delighted to announce that the proposed merger between Mt. Moriah and Tuscan lodges has been unanimously approved by all Brothers present last October 17th. I would like to thank those who came out as well as those who sent their messages of support. To welcome our Brothers from Tuscan, we are planning to hold a simple get-to-know gathering in the coming weeks. I will send out a communication once we have the details finalized.
November 7th is our Past Master’s Night and we will get to witness our Past Masters assume the officers’ chairs and confer the Master Mason degree on Bro. Paul Sandor. I hope you will be able to join us on this special event. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM.
Then on November 21st, Bro. JW Gary Norman will talk about his leadership journey as a Mason and as a blind person leveraging on the lessons that the three, five and seven steps teach.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving to reflect on the manifold blessings and comforts we enjoy, let us not forget the less fortunate and extend relief if possible. Our charitable foundation allows us to put this into action by simply supporting the program as it was presented in last month’s communication. You can now drop those items you choose to donate in the box we have setup in the banquet hall.
Lastly, I am proud to share that Mt. Moriah won the 2nd and 3rd place during the annual Corn Husking competition held on Harvest Home Day.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Randie V. Ursal
